Three-course menus 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every night for Pre City Winery dinners.
4th & Swift restaurant in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward will begin serving a three-course tasting menu as a pre-show dining option for event-goers who will soon be attending shows across the street at City Winery or shows at the Fox.
The menu will be available for $40 per person starting Monday, June 13. It will be offered in addition to the a la carte menu and the current, five-course tasting menu. Guests can expect to see items such as chilled peach & tomato soup with pork belly croutons, charred romaine, cucumber and frozen yogurt or wood grilled bavette steak, baby carrots, shaved zucchini, new potatoes, arugula and pickled ramps.
“The new tasting menu is tailored for guests who want to grab an elevated meal experience before their show. We can get them in and out on time, without compromising the chef-crafted quality or the relaxed environment that sets 4th & Swift apart,” explained Chef and owner Jay Swift.
In addition, 4th & Swift is now doing both on-site catering at 4th & Swift, as well as catering to the event spaces at Ponce City Market, including the rooftop event space. In May, 4th & Swift catered an event on the roof hosting Mayor Reed and business leaders from around the globe, as well as officials from Hartsfield International Airport.
“The off-site catering is a natural outgrowth of the catering events we’re doing at the restaurant” noted Chef Swift, adding the fact that 4th & Swift has become a popular venue for weddings and corporate events. “We’re seeing an increase in demand from private groups, from small groups for 25 or 30 people to wedding buy-outs for up to 150… plus the roof at Ponce City Market allows us to serve up to 200.”
4th & Swift has offered relaxed fine dining in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward since 2008. Ponce City Market opened in October 2015, and City Winery is slated to open this month and has shows scheduled each week through the summer.
